    Matthew 5:16 says, "Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good a works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven." Based on this verse alone, Chris tians are meant to stand out. When we stand out, we must shine brightly not the glaring kind but the inviting one. In this pan- H demic era, shining our lights before men is and glorifying God is the best time to prove and show to the world.   • SY 2020-2021

    Jesus’ disciples were in the midst of a great storm. They saw the waves rising higher and higher; the boat that they were in was tossed here and there by the raging tempest; and water was getting inside the boat. They were frightened but Jesus was sleeping soundly. The disciples who could no longer stand their fright woke Jesus up from his sleep. “Teacher, do you not care that we are perishing?” Jesus arose from his sleep and with one word He calmed the tempest. Immediately, the sea was still. “Why are you so afraid? Have you still no faith?” asked Jesus(Mark 4:35-41, ESV).
